Our four FCS sites in Seminole County represent our commitment to ensuring that patients have convenient access to a comprehensive range of world-class cancer care and services close to home

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (FCS) celebrated the grand opening of its new, cutting-edge cancer treatment center in Seminole County this week. Located at 750 Orienta Avenue, Altamonte Springs, the new facility is designed to provide comprehensive care for patients with cancer, blood disorders, and other serious illnesses.

FCS CEO Nathan H. Walcker emphasized the organization's commitment to improving patient access to high-quality care. "Our four FCS sites in Seminole County represent our commitment to ensuring that patients have convenient access to a comprehensive range of world-class cancer care and services close to home," he said.

The new two-story clinic boasts a modern design that prioritizes both patient comfort and operational efficiency. The facility features nine private exam rooms and 35 infusion therapy chairs, ensuring that patients receive a comfortable and streamlined experience. In-house services include specialty pharmacy and hematopathology laboratory, as well as the option for patients to participate in clinical trials to access the most advanced treatments available.

Dr. Ralph Gousse, a board-certified medical oncologist and hematologist at FCS, spoke about the quality of care provided at the clinic. “The individuals who work within these walls are dedicated to making a difference and helping to ensure the best possible outcomes for each of the patients who entrust their care to us,” Dr. Gousse said.

The Altamonte Springs location joins FCS's network of cancer centers across Seminole County, including the Lake Mary Cancer Center and Drug Development Unit, Sanford Radiation Oncology, and the Oviedo clinic. The new facility replaces the former FCS Altamonte clinic located at 206 Boston Avenue.

Community leaders, including Seminole County Chamber President Rebekah Arthur, attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony to show their support for the center's impact on local healthcare.

FCS has been a leader in innovative cancer care for over 40 years, offering patients access to clinical trials and cutting-edge treatments. As one of Florida's largest private oncology practices, it continues to drive the transformation of cancer care both locally and nationwide.
